If you joined us Saturday, I hope you're sentiment is the same as mine - "still full"... Full of gratitude, joy, and expectation for the next moment God will bring to pass for each of us.

I can't say thank you enough for your presence at the launch and your support of this vision and my business.

Oh my, have you tried the Chai??

The smell, the warmth, the experience. I cannot imagine not having this chai regularly... so I must share Asha's recipe. She promised and has delivered. See below for the ingredients plus tips on how to make your own Chai at home along with instructions on how to order more Rose Chai from Asha Gomez’s House of Goretti tea collection.

ASHA'S CHAI (Serves 2)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cardamom pods (crush in a mortar and pestle or grind in your coffee or spice grinder.)
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of black Assam tea or 6 tetley tea bags
  • Sweeten with sugar (as much or as little as you wish)

Method:

  • In a pot over a really low flame heat the milk, water, and spices. Carefully watching it so it doesn't boil over. It's a labor of love, don't rush it.
  • Let this be your moment of quiet - stop, the world can wait, you’ll come back to her a better human because you stopped and loved yourself with a cuppa of chai. Intention is everything sweet friends.
  • When you see the steam rise on the milk just before she's about to flow over, add the tea and let her come to a boil (a minute or so...).
  • Strain. Stop. Sit. Sip. Love yourself and Love your fellow humans.
